Ski schools for adults and children in the Werfenweng family ski resort

At the Ikarus valley station in the main ski area, you’ll find our 8,000 m² children’s area, also called the BOBO Park. Located right in the middle of Iki's Snowpark in the valley, it can be easily and safely reached without a gondola.

Our children’s area is equipped with three conveyor lifts and two rope tows. The kids can celebrate their first successes on the snow right from the start at Iki’s Snowpark and on specially designed beginner lifts and slopes. This allows our ski instructors to nurture the young talents and help them continuously improve their skills. Fast progress is guaranteed. Whether your child needs a lift pass can be conveniently checked via our ski school’s online booking system.

The children's area in the valley is easily accessible without the need for a gondola ride and offers optimal conditions with the spacious Zaglau Arena and four lifts. With over 8,000 m² of space, it is the largest children’s area in Werfenweng. Group sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 people, ensuring personal attention. The ski school lessons allow the best use of time on the slopes, as only a few gondola rides are needed – here it’s all about skiing, not riding!

Our children’s area is groomed daily, just like all other slopes, by the Werfenweng mountain cable cars and is also artificially snowed. We are proud of our children’s area, as very few ski schools have such an exceptionally perfect facility, which we are able to offer to our guests.

The area is easily accessible from anywhere in the village via the free ski bus, which offers excellent connectivity!

Warm-up with Bobomusic, ride with "flight aids," enjoy a safety day, and participate in a ski race with an awards ceremony, medal presentation, and certificate distribution – making your child's ski holiday an unforgettable experience.

In full-day courses, the children are supervised by the ski instructors during lunchtime.

The central location allows families to easily meet up in the main ski area throughout the day.

Why is a good children's area so important for your child? Because it directly promotes the improvement of skiing skills. In our ski school, the children spend their entire lesson time in the main ski area, where they can effectively and efficiently develop their abilities!

The minimum age for ski courses is around 4 years and, for snowboard courses, around 7 years. The kids are immediately given a warm welcome to our KINDER-CLUB with its intimate and friendly atmosphere, making your winter holiday an unforgettable experience.

Children up to seven get a helmet free of charge when hiring equipment.

In adult classes and private lessons, you will be supported by our highly motivated instructors who teach out of a great depth of understanding and passion for their work.

After an analysis at the beginning of the course, the courses are divided up into groups of various skill levels and ages to enable the participants to learn proper technique on our practice area to enhance their enjoyment of skiing and snowboarding.

By making an online booking, you’ll reserve your course; what’s more, you will get a discount of up to 5% if you book 7 days prior to the course. Private lessons are only bookable on site or by phone. If you make an online reservation, you’ll significantly reduce your waiting time in the resort.

Ski courses for beginners start on Sunday and Monday, and the course times are from 9.45am – 12.45pm and 1pm – 3pm. There are additional starting days for courses in the Christmas holidays.
